Oh dear, I went mad yesterday and Tuesday and had two chocolate over-eating days.
My first mistake - I bought multi packs from Tesco when I went shopping on Monday (I went shopping as soon as I arrived in Scotland to start my work up there this week).
I managed to eat 5 bars of chocolate on Tuesday and another 6 bars of chocolate and a piece of cake on Wednesday, the day I returned home from Scotland. I was feeling tired and sorry for myself as it is getting harder to spend 3 days a week working away from home, but needs must - it keeps the wolves from the door and the bills paid.
I did count my checks and keep PEPing (diet plan) as normal and my total extra checks in 2 days was 76. This is more than the total allowed for in 1 day (65). I have redone my weekly plan and hope to reduce the rest of the week before my Monday weigh-in so that I get a loss. This has gone really well today, so just tomorrow to get through on my own before the weekend. It is easier at the weekend as I am not on my own, but rattling around in the house when the OH is at work is difficult.
I will update you on Monday as to whether I gain or lose weight.
What have I learnt - don't buy multipacks of chocolates!
Occupy myself instead of sitting wathching TV in my hotel room feeling sorry for myself. I could always go swimming, as the hotel has a half price offer with the local leisure centre.
Try and keep more low calorie/low fat snacks around for the weak moments.
Try to be positive about the job, after all it is not for long now.
End of confession.

New Year, New Resolution!
The Christmas and New Year period meant weight gain for me but I started PEPing again once back from holiday.
I went up to 23 st but was back down to 22st 9lb last Monday and by yesterday I was 22st 8 lbs. When I updated my ticker I realised that I was 50 lbs lighter than when I started in January 2007 - whooooo!!
Well this year is onwards and downwards. I am not giving up, I will be a lot less weight by the time I get to Antigua (now in April rather than March do to the new job the OH started in December).
Well the year has started well with the 5 lb weight loss.
My only niggle with myself. I told my Dietline contact that I only gained 3 lbs, not 5 lbs (cos I felt very, very guilty). From now on I will stop feeling guilty and just own up, because I have shown myself that I can pick myself up, dust myself down and get back on the PEP (diet) again. This time I am not giving up, I am going to get all the way!!
Happy New Year, and may you loss be great this year.
