Extreme cleaning!

We have visitors tomorrow, the house is dusty and in need of a good clean from top to bottom and I need to shift my arse and get on with it.

I keep the House tidy, I pick up litter behind me, I recycle newspapers and magazines so that they do not take over the house. I keep the kitchen and bathrooms clean, dirty kitchens depress me! At my weight, with my low energy levels, and working away from home 3 days (2 nights) a week in Greenock that is all I can manage.

Today I woke up and had the urge to see the house positively sparkle for our visitors tomorrow. We have not seen them in a few years and it would be a shame not to make an effort for them, and myself.

I had stayed the same this week (after moving the scales to about 10 different places around the house!) Maybe extreme housework is just what I need to kick start a more physical exercise routine? I do exercise, specific ones for my back and legs (due to arthritis and back ache) so they do not get you worked into a sweat with a pounding heart!

I did 2 hours non stop housework this morning, and another 1.5 hours this afternoon, then went to do the weekly shopping at the supermarket. Now I am completely knackered! Every bone and muscle aches. Oh dear, hope I have the energy to spend time with our guests tomorrow night now?

One weakness though, I found a Fry's Turkish Delight and a Battenburg cake in my shopping when I got home. How did they get there? Did I consciously or sub-consciously cry out for something sweet to re-invigorate my energy? I must have done. Just as I was about to consume the whole Battenburg cake my OH came home from work early and caught me, that makes a change! I ended up having half the Battenburg. I had already eaten the Turkish Delight in the car on the way home.

Yes, I have counted the checks, now I am living off NCLC free soups on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday lunch to make up and no more snacks for me today. Over the last 2 weeks I have discovered that Feast and Fast works for me, I now have the ability to feast then cut back to bring my check total in for the week. I am not binging anymore, I am feasting!!!!!
